to see a picture of you called a sonogram.
They didn’t know until now whether you were a boy or a girl
So I lovingly called you ‘Squirt” since your last name is Waters.
I thought that was so cute, but I love your name

You are God’s little gift and we can hardly wait to see you
And dress you in ruffles and lace.
Your mommy will decorate your room in soft colors
With flowy curtains on your window.
A teddy bear, a lamb, a baby doll or two
Bows and ribbons and little satin ballerina shoes.
A pretty Princess bed all your own
Where your big brother can come and peek
To watch you while you sleep.
